Janette Kern

Born and raised in northern Iowa, Janette is the third of twelve children. She was raised by godly parents with a rich spiritual heritage and was saved at the age of 6. She was baptized a year later and has a passion to reach the unsaved, to invest in young ladies and new brides, and for children who have experienced trauma and abuse.

In 2023, Janette married Abraham Kern who has teamed up with her in their pursuit of discipling newlyweds and caring for the elderly and those who come from broken homes. Both Abraham and Janette hold their Associate’s Degrees in World Missions from Faith Baptist Bible College. Janette is a deacon’s wife and loves to find ways to serve alongside her husband through their local church and community. Their desire is to honor God in all things and to follow His leading whether that be at home or abroad.

Janette enjoys loom-weaving rugs, cooking, and spending time with her husband through hiking, biking, hospitality, and spending time with family. The foothills of the Ozarks is their favorite getaway destination, although they would love to broaden their horizons and explore many other places in the future.
